Exercise

Experience Vending Machine
We are assigned to experience those vending machine in campus, record the process of purchase and describe our experience while accessing to it.

We are assigned to come out with 3 ideas to work on for our project




Proposal


After consultation with Mr Razif, he suggested me to go with my second idea, which is a pet information and visual app





Design Process

Configure Vuforia Settings

At first, we need to get our license key and paste in in our unity project file.



Mr Razif guide us to set up our unity and vulforia engine before we started to design our application.



Image target

Then, i create image target in illustrator based on the pets i have chosen for my project.

After all the image target was done, we will need to upload it into the vuforia target manager and download the databse file for unity.


AR Camera

Screen Design for AR camera scene.




Then, all image target for each different pet was arranged accordingly.


Testing (AR camera & Image Target)

After set up, we need to test our image target and outcome in unity.

Illustrations & Designs

The overall design, logo for Application, and also button for intro scene has been created using illustator and import into unity.

Visual Studio Scriptes

After getting done with the screen design, the functions of each button was created using the scipts and onclick() function. First, there was navigation to AR camera Scanning function script been written in the start button to navigate the oage from intro to AR camera scene.



Pets visual will be shown upon scanning the imnage target in AR camera scene.



The information of differnt pets view be show which need to be code accordingly.



Outcome for onclick() function linked with scripts.


After getting feedback from Mr Razif, i decided to make some changes and add in more funtions in to my application. I adjust the button functions and placement for main pages, also added button that direct users to the video scene for each pet. Based on Mr Razif's suggestion, i midify the text information of each pets which makes it more visual appelaing and attractive.


Play video button has also been added to the AR camera scene which will appears when the camera detect the image target, to direct users to the video playing scene.
