Reflection
Experience
My experience in Typography was containing both happy and sad moments. The favourite part for me in typography was Calligraphy Exercise and the Font Design Project, it was really fun where I always wanted to write pretty lines and also have a chance to create my own desirable typeface. Mr Vinod was a strict lecturer, he always make sure that we are on track, and make sure our blog and works are well done and organise, he looks very serious sometimes but he and Mr Shamsul always willing to help me and give feedback for me to have a better outcome in my work. During all my work progress, I experience multiple attempts also get rejected for my work, it was sad and sometimes disappointed but makes me improve in each attempt and feedbacks.
Observations
Mr Vinod always advices us to arrange and be neat of our blog. Being organise is really important, this result to have easy job for me to work with, separate my blog with different section and labels makes things more need and tidy which increase the overall appearance and readability of my blog. Hence, by doing the blog for portfolio, I have learn to do a better and organise portfolio is helpful and benefits me for this module also for the other subjects.
Findings
Typography was not easy, It was a really interesting and challenging module for me, I learn a lot of new things and knowledge from lectures, readings, feedbacks from lectures, also my women attempts and failures. Knowing Typography well have gain me a lot of advantages, before learning this module, I never pay attention of letter and typefaces uses surrounded, now I am able to know and compare about good and bad typefaces, also manage to choose suitable typefaces and express it in my design well. Besides, I found myself being more organise in my blogs, having a organise blog makes me feel like an achievement.
